Demo Program Terms and Conditions
Thank you for participating in our Demo Program! By using this service, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Eligibility:
This program is open to residents of the United States aged 18 and older.
Participants must have a valid payment method.
How It Works:
You can choose a high-quality paddle from our selection to try out.
You are required to pay the shipping fee for the selected paddle, which will be delivered to your specified address.
You have a full five days from the date of delivery to test the paddle in your gameplay.
If you decide to keep the paddle after the trial period, we will charge you the listed price of the paddle.
If you are not completely satisfied with the paddle, you can return it within the trial period without any questions asked.
The returned paddle must be in new condition. Please allow up to 10 days for your returned paddle to be inspected. If it shows signs of wear or damage, a $35 fixing fee may be applied, and Volk reserves the right to determine whether the paddle is damaged or shows wear.
If, upon inspection, the returned paddle is found to be extensively damaged or shows signs of improper usage, Volk reserves the right to charge the full price of the paddle.
Payment:
The shipping fee is non-refundable.
Pre-Authorization Hold:
(1) Upon selecting a paddle for the demo program, we will implement a pre-authorization hold on your payment method. This hold will be for the full retail price of the paddle.
(2) The hold will only be converted into a charge if the paddle is not returned within the specified trial period, as outlined in our terms.
Reminder Notifications:
(1) To help you keep track of the trial period, we will send automated reminder emails or text messages a few days before the return deadline.
(2) Please ensure -your contact details are up to date in our system to receive these timely reminders.
Late Return Penalties:
(1) If the paddle is not returned by the end of the trial period, a late fee will be incurred. This fee will be an incremental charge for each day beyond the return deadline.
(2)The specifics of these charges will be detailed in the reminder notifications and are also available upon request.
5. Deposit Requirement:
(1)For participating in our demo program, a refundable deposit is required. This deposit will be specified at the time of the paddle selection.
(2)The deposit will be fully refunded upon the safe and timely return of the paddle, provided it is in the same condition as when it was dispatched.
Shipping:
We will make every effort to ensure timely delivery of the selected paddle.
Shipping costs may vary based on location and paddle weight.
Returns:
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using the provided return shipping instructions in the confirmation email to ensure a safe return.
Returned paddles should be carefully packaged to prevent any damage during transit.
We must receive demo paddles within 7 business days from the end of the trial period. Failure to do so will result in the full price of the paddle being charged.
The return package should include the original packaging of the paddle, and it must be in new condition.
We strongly advise using a traceable shipping method like UPS, FedEx, or USPS with tracking when sending your item. Please note that we cannot assume responsibility for missing packages, stolen items, or shipments with incorrect addresses.
Liability:
The participant assumes all responsibility for the safe and proper use of the paddle.
Our company is not liable for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the trial period.
Privacy: Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this program will be subject to arbitration in accordance with the laws of the state of Washington.
Changes to Terms and Conditions:
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants and will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
By participating in our Paddle Tryout Program, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
